• Capps Construction is growing, and we're looking for motivated individuals who are ready to learn, work hard, and build real skills in the trades!

  We're hiring entry-level team members for general labor, drywall, plumbing, interior design, and other construction-related work.

  If you're reliable, willing to learn, able to follow directions, and ready to grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside an experienced team in a variety of residential remodeling and construction projects.

  🔨 Entry-Level Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools, or willingness to learn

  • Ability to listen to and follow directions

  • Reliable transportation and ability to drive to local job sites

  • Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn

  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team

  🏠 What We Do

  Our projects vary, so no two days are necessarily the same. Work may include:

  • Kitchen remodels

  • Bathroom remodels

  • Basement finishing and remodeling

  • Drywall and painting

  • Plumbing

  • Decks and exterior projects

  • General home remodeling

  • Interior design and finish work

  • Select commercial projects

  • General construction and labor

  We primarily serve the Metro Detroit area and surrounding communities.

  💼 Position Details

  • Positions are structured as independent contractor (1099) opportunities

  • Pay is $15–$20 per hour, depending on position, experience, and qualifications

  • Payments are issued bi-weekly

  • Typical work schedules are approximately 30–40 hours per week, depending on project needs

  • Independent contractors are responsible for their own applicable taxes and tax filings

  • Capps Construction is licensed and insured

  • Insurance and workers' compensation coverage are maintained as applicable to Capps Construction's operations and employees

  • Specific duties, schedules, project assignments, and compensation may vary by position and project
